Another update on progress!

The chassis is back from the sandblaster, and freshly powder coated, so he's started putting it all back together.

The wishbones have also been done at the same time. Brake and steering parts cleaned up, and new Gaz dampers and springs fitted.

Same at the back - shame about the mucky old handbrake cable though!

He has also had the wheels refurbished - I'll see when I get it back - I might paint in the black bits around the spokes again.

So - onwards with the rebuild!

Another update on progress!

He called today to tell me that the car is nearly finished, it needs the bonnet putting back on, and a few wee details sorted, but it should be ready for collection next week!

In the meantime, he's sent a few more pictures of progress.

The rolling chassis, ready for engine installation.

And the rear end transmission all finished...

The engine and cooling system are all installed...

Gearbox and propshaft installed...

And the body is back in place!

It's all getting exciting!

I'll be standing by the phone next week, ready for news! First though, I need to clear out the garage a bit, to make room for its return!
