This is my TVR web site. It's not a site about TVRs in general. No - it's about two TVRs in particular - both MINE!
The first is a 1990 TVR "S" Series S3C, in Mica Blue with magnolia leather interior. I bought it in April 2003, as my first venture into TVR ownership, and this site was set up to catalogue the trials and tribulations of the experience!
Even after all this time, I still find that every single drive in it is a grin-inducing thrill. I have gradually been fixing odds and end, tidying it up and inevitably breaking bits. Exasperating at times, it's all worth it for the way it looks, the way it drives and the way it sounds.
5 years later, I had a love-hate relationship with a TVR Cerbera, a.k.a. "The Purple Kettle" due to its eagerness to overheat - a problem that I only solved after another 5 years and a substantial mortgage.
In 2024, I bought a 1971 Vixen S3, which isn't very fast, isn't very quiet, but is a whole lot of fun.

Disclaimer - On various pages of this site, I explain how I have done various jobs on my cars. If you wish to follow that advice, then be aware that you do so entirely at your own risk. I have been fixing cars for a long long time, and although it might appear occasionally on these pages that I don't know what I'm doing (mainly for comedy value), I do know what is truly risky and what isn't. If you are in any doubt whatsoever about your ability to do any of these jobs, then you should seek professional advice. TVRs are fast and complicated cars, and I accept absolutely no liability whatsoever for the consequences, either during maintenance or afterwards, of anybody following the advice on this web site.
